The Friendship Initiative
Making Friends in Boston is Hard! Let us Help.
One of the biggest issues in large cities like Boston is loneliness. You would think it would be easier to make friends, but issues such as transience, technology, and work/life balance keep people from developing the fruitful relationships we all desire. At City on a Hill, we believe the church offers something unique as a place of friendship and belonging in a busy place.
One way we have sought to address this need is through “The Friendship Initiative”. The Friendship Initiative pairs individuals with others in the area who are looking for friends. Here’s how it works:

You will then be paired with a person of the same gender (men with men, women with women)
There will be three meetups for coffee, ice cream, drinks or some other activity…and we’ll pay for it!
We will provide conversation starter questions
You are only committed to those 3 meetups but feel free to keep hanging out!
