As we seek to grow as Christians, it’s important that to understand the process of spiritual growth. The primary way that Christians grow is through studying, understanding, and applying God’s Word. This happens through hearing the Scriptures taught on Sundays, studying them with a Community Group, and learning to live on mission and serve in everyday life.

City on a Hill’s Discipleship Pathway does not replace the everyday rhythms of church services and personal spiritual habits but seeks to provide targeted training necessary to move new believers toward maturity within them. We have designed cohort-based tracks for you, no matter what stage you are at in your spiritual journey.

101: Disciple

Purpose: To disciple new Christians by teaching them the basics of the Christian faith

Who this is for: Those who have become Christians within the last year or need to learn the basics of Christianity

Commitment: 4 monthly cohort meetings

Module 1: Spiritual Habits

Module 2: Gospel

Module 3: Community

Module 4: Evangelism & Everyday Living

201: Deepen

Purpose: To help believers deepen their faith through systematic theological education

Who this is for: Any Christian who wants to grow a deeper understanding of the Christian faith

Commitment: 10 monthly cohort meetings

Module 2: Revelation and the Bible

Module 3: Interpretation of the Bible

Module4: Theology Proper

Module 5: The Person of Christ

Module 6: The Work of Christ

Module 7: The Spirit and the Church

Module 8: Our Mission in Culture

Module 9: Thoughtful Engagement

Module 10: Living in Creation and Covenant

301: Develop

Purpose: To develop future leaders for service at City on a Hill both in the church and the city

Who this is for: Mature believers who have a desire to lead a team, ministry, or further develop leadership gifting and skill

Commitment: 10 monthly cohort meetings
