Genesis 18:16-33 | How Does Abraham Point Us to Christ?

What does it mean to be a “good” person? If we are honest with ourselves, we can make the line pretty arbitrary. Usually, we define goodness and morality on our own, likely treating the stuff we struggle with as less serious. But what if there’s a concrete, absolute standard of goodness? In this passage, Abraham intercedes on behalf of Sodom before God. Through Abraham’s prayer, God points us forward to Jesus, revealing a gospel truth - “God is willing to spare the many through the righteousness of another”.
